CEWiT is a non-profit IIT Madras Society with a vision of providing technology leadership to the Indian Wireless Industry and address the needs of the Indian market through research and building solutions. CEWiT activities are sustained by grants from Government of India and project funding/license fees received from industry.

 

A major part of the grant for CEWiT comes from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY). CEWiT conducts research on 4G and 5G Technologies and collaborates with industry in leveraging the IPs created and knowledge gained from them. Details of grant being provided by DeitY are given below.
