RESEARCH ENGINEER

Job Function

The candidate will be a member of CEWiT’s research team which conducts advanced research and develops state of the art broadband wireless technologies. The job functions may comprise of one or more of the following:

  • Research activities focusing on 5G technologies.
  • Design, development and performance evaluation of L1/L2/L3 algorithms for 4G/5G systems.
  • Design, development and testing of industry research  projects.
  • Implementation and testing of new features for CEWiT’s Broadband Wireless Simulator (BWSIM).

Skills/Experience

  • Very good understanding of Digital and Wireless Communication.
  • Knowledge in wireless technologies such as LTE/UMTS/WLAN is desirable.
  • Strong C/C++ development skills are required.
  • Experience with Linux, MATLAB and any of the development and debugging tools.

Qualification:

  • Masters or PhD in Wireless/Communications/Electronics/Computer Networks with 0-5 years of relevant experience

 

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER for Radio Subsystem

Job Function

The candidate will be a member of CEWiT’s development team which develops state of the art broadband wireless technologies. The job functions may comprise of one or more of the following:

  • Design, development and performance evaluation of L1/L2/L3 implementation algorithms for 4G/5G systems.
  • Design, development and testing of industry implementation projects.
  • Implementation, testing and maintenance of new/existing features for CEWiT’s Broadband Wireless Simulator (BWSIM).
  • Implementation, testing and maintenance of new/existing features for CEWiT’s next generation (4G-Adv/5G) test bed.

Skills/Experience

  • Very good understanding of Digital and Wireless Communication.
  • Knowledge in wireless technologies such as LTE/UMTS/WLAN is desirable.
  • Strong C/C++ development skills are required.
  • Experience with Linux, MATLAB and any of the development and debugging tools.
  • Understanding of embedded platforms and implementation technologies (Desirable).

Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Wireless/Communications/Electronics/Computer Networks with 0-5 years of relevant experience

 

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER for Core and Management layers

Job Function

The candidate will be a member of CEWiT’s development team which develops state of the art 5G test beds and prototypes. The job functions may comprise of one or more of the following:

* Design and development of Core network subsystems of 5G Systems.

* Design and development of basic management layer of 5G Systems.

* Integration and testing of various components of 5G Systems.

Skills/Experience

* A good understanding of Digital and Wireless Communication.

* Strong C/C++ development skills are required.

* Experience in developing telecom software.

* Knowledge in wireless technologies such as 5G/LTE is desirable.

* Experience in development of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) based systems

Qualification:

* Bachelors or Masters degree in Wireless/Communications/Electronics/Computer Networks with 0-5 years of relevant experience
